Not-So-Snow Day

I don't know about you guys, but I am excited that it is Friday. Friday means Craig gets to relax with us for two days, and in today's case, it means we can all go visit my grandmother for the weekend. Now, if only the weather would cooperate and give us a little snow when we are there, I would be ever so grateful.

Speaking of snow, we actually encountered some today in Florida, of all places.

Ok, so not exactly. You see, we had a little sleet earlier this morning and Canon got so excited about it that it was the talk of the whole morning. However, this little ditty happened first.

Me : "Canon, it's snowing!"
Canon : {thinking I have completely fallen off my rocker} "Mom, it only snows in Virginia."
Me : *blank stare of confusion/amusement/pride over his geographical knowledge*

Yeah...

Anyway, after that little awkward conversation he finally was able to see the tiny specks of ice falling and proceeded to try and catch them on his tongue.
